This six week series covers the basic meditation practices within the Kadampa tradition.
Week 1: Meditations to calm and pacify the mind
Week 2: Developing mindfulness
Week 3: First Scope of Lam Rim: Developing motivation
Week 4: Second Scope of Lam Rim: Renunciation. The realization of the ultimate intention.
Week 5: Third Scope of Lam Rim: Developing a mind of great compassion motivated to liberate others from suffering
Week 6: Meditation on Emptiness, understanding and familiarizing yourself with the ultimate realization that leads to liberation.
The class is one hour. $8, $5 for students and seniors.
