Overcoming Stress and Anxiety meditation workshop

Our lives can sometimes feel overwhelming.   We may feel that there are too many responsibilities, too many difficulties, and too much stimulation.    Although we may dream of  escape, is there a place we can really be free from our stress and anxiety?

In this workshop, we explore Buddhist teachings on the ultimate causes of distress, and develop a plan of action that can give us the freedom we truly desire.    This workshop will give practical guidance on how we can change our orientation towards the difficulties we face every day.     We can find a life of meaning and escape from what can appear to be the overwhelming “rat race” of our modern lives.

This morning meditation workshop will consist of two sessions with a 30-minute break in-between. Each session will include a guided meditation and a talk. Snacks, tea, and coffee will be provided during the break.

No previous meditation experience required. Everyone is welcome!

You don’t need to pre-register for this workshop. Just come up about 15 minutes before the start of class so you can get paid up and settled in. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card .
