Sat Sept 22nd from 10am to 12:30pm
With Buddhist teacher Ethan Lechner
Cost: $12 to $30 – pay within this range as you are able
As we go about our daily life we often experience annoyance as we selectively focus on faults we find in people and situations. This habit of “seeing the bad” keeps us distressed and irritated, making it harder for us to feel close to others and to accomplish our daily tasks.
We can learn to stop seeing the bad and instead focus on seeing the good, which results in a sense of mental peace and happiness that we can share with others.
In this morning meditation workshop, Buddhist teacher Ethan Lechner will give teachings and lead meditations that will help us to lose our anxiety and annoyance around particular people and situations, and find a strong, calm heart in any circumstance.
This morning meditation workshop will consist of two sessions with a 30-minute break in-between. Each session will include a guided meditation and a talk. Snacks, tea, and coffee will be provided during the break.
No previous meditation experience required. Everyone is welcome!
You don’t need to pre-register for this workshop. Just come up about 15 minutes before the start of class so you can get paid up and settled in. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card .
