What to Expect at a Class

Classes at the Kosala Center welcome anyone interested in exploring ways to improve their lives. All classes incorporate meditation, teaching, and discussion. 

The General Program on Wednesdays is a drop-in class appropriate for students at any level.  This class is usually taught by Gen Kelsang Tilopa, and includes some guided meditation as well as discourse and discussion.  This class is $10, $7 for students and seniors.

The Foundation Program on Thursdays is for students more committed to the study and practice of Buddhism.  If you are interested in joining the class, please talk to the resident teacher.

The Lam Rim Meditation class on Tuesdays is a drop in meditation class where students have the opportunity to be guided in one of the 21 Lam Rim meditations.

Meditation 101 offers a six-week introduction to basic meditation methods and the essential teachings of Kadampa Buddhism.
