We have often heard that we should be happy during the holidays, but for many they can be the most difficult time of the year. Challenges arise such as increased financial pressure, increased busyness and travel, and having to spend time with difficult people. There can also be a general sense of disappointment and depression as things don’t turn out as we’d hoped.
This half-day meditation course will present ways to train in calm and happy minds. Through these trainings we can learn to use the difficulties that arise during the holidays to develop our strength of mind, compassion, and inner peace.
There will be a break where snacks, tea, and coffee will be provided.
Kids are welcome if they are able to sit quietly through the class. (Of course, asking questions is fine.) Anyone under the age of 14 can attend free of charge.
- $20 for non-members
- $15 with a Basic Membership
- $10 with a Contributor Membership
- Free for Benefactor Members
No previous meditation experience required. Everyone is welcome!
